Defensive Line Gaps

the gaps on the defensive line are called the A, B, C, and D gaps. 

The A gap is the space between the center and the guard. 

The B gap is the space between the guard and the tackle. 

The C gap is the space between the tackle and the tight end. 

The D gap is the space outside the tight end.
